Capturing light and shadow is Diane Fechenbach's passion. She paints in watercolor, oil, and pastel and this workshop is open to all those medias.  Diane welcomes students of all experience levels, but it helps if you have some basic painting background. You can choose to paint plein air or bring a sketchbook to capture images of Provence. 

The hotel has a perfect location in the center of Bonnieux. It is possible to walk to restaurants, shops and galleries. The hotel has a lovely garden, a small pool, plenty of space to paint indoors after our excursions! The breakfast is extraordinary and can be taken in the dining room that has a panoramic view over the beautiful valley below. 

We will stay in the Medieval town of Bonnieux, situated on a steep cliff with many hilly streets and overlooking the valley below. The architecture of Bonnieux, which was a papal town for about 500 years, has kept all its authenticity, its fountains and washhouses, its old church - and a view that is worth it all.
